Saratoga Citizen, Inc. is a grassroots community group supporting an alternate form of government in Saratoga Springs, New York. We advocate replacing the current commission form of government with a council-manager form.
Moving Forward!
At their regular meeting on May 15, 2012, the Saratoga Springs City Council voted to approve Saratoga Citizen’s proposed charter for public vote in November. The document is the same as the original, except that key dates were corrected, and the transition team was removed. The proposed charter will be posted here soon, along with the fiscal impact statement. We’ll keep you posted.
